When Tommy Edwards was both a DJ on WERE and the proprietor of his own record store, Hillbilly Heaven, in the 50’s, he was noted not only for breaking national hits, but supporting the local talent in Cleveland, Ohio as well.
In keeping with this exceptional tradition, we have now compiled this exclusive “Legends” series, which embodies the finest our great musical community has had to offer over the last 45+ years. Not only have we heavily researched these projects to bring you some of the rarest recordings, but each track has also been fully digitally restored and remastered to capture the essence of every historic performance. Moreover, we have included actual current interviews with many of the artists, themselves, bringing a truly unique personal perspective to these remarkable compilations. Each individual CD contains well over 60 minutes of music, photos and interviews as well as testimonials by various Cleveland Legendary DJs.
